Having always had a passion for sports growing up, health and fitness has always been something I held of importance for performance purposes. However after also struggling with my own mindset towards nutrition and exercise and noticing an unfortunate, yet common trend of this within society, I initially came to the realisation that training should be a celebration of what your body is capable of, with food being fuel for it. This was something I wanted to show to others too. As I continued to learn more about training and nutrition and how they can be utilised to achieve personal goals, I noticed that many lifestyle factors go hand in hand with training for specific goals and also basics health.
I am determined to change the mindset in particular that many people hold around nutrition and exercise, and pay attention to lifestyle factors which are often neglected, yet are an important root to physical and mental health. I want to do my part in removing the stigma that training/nutrition should ever be a “punishment” and teach people what they are capable of, mentally and physically
