Julia promotes building and maintaining muscle mass for long-term health and wellbeing. We all need muscles to perform daily movements, secure our independence as we age, and enjoy playing recreational or community sports or games with our children and grandchildren. However, from the age of 50, we will continuously lose those muscles. So, the more muscle mass you have now, the more you will retain when you reach your ripe old age. It sounds simple. But what do you need to do?

If you are unsure how to safely build muscles, ask Julia for personal training sessions or participation in low-intensity interval training classes. It does not matter whether you are new to fitness or may experience a sore joint here or there; Julia will have your back. Her life mission is to help people become stronger and healthier by empowering them to achieve their fitness goals and introducing them to different lifestyle choices.

Julia shares her story: “My journey to Personal Training was unique. I worked as a passionate Food Industry professional until, in 2017, I realised that life was too short to feel not your best, be out of shape, or be without energy to face a new day. So, I chose to change my way of eating for good, established my view of resistance training’s purpose and commenced a study in the fitness industry. My 20+ years of personal experience on the gyms’ floors helped me complete the Personal Trainer qualification. I also became a biohacker and a sucker for any scientific publications supporting my newly discovered lifestyle. Today, I have enough energy to ignite you and enough knowledge to teach you how to build stronger muscles and optimise your wellbeing”.

Julia’s training service will benefit those who want to become stronger, grow lean muscles, develop stronger bones, and improve their confidence and energy levels.

Important Information Regarding Your Surge Fitness Membership.

Yesterday’s announcement from our Prime Minister ordering the immediate closure of Fitness Facilities across the nation is significant a blow to all of us across many Industries. We understand that this decision has been based on the best advice currently available to those responsible for our safety and with the Impending state border closures, and increasing community concerns, meant that this decision was unavoidable.

As such, it is with great sadness that we today announce that all Surge Fitness clubs will temporarily close, effective from 12pm today, Monday 23rd March 2020.

At Surge Fitness, we believe that we can make a difference, change lives and build healthy communities. As a brand, we still have a lot of work to do and we all believe that we can continue to positively impact our members and the local communities at large during this time of uncertainty.

Like many of you, our business is facing unprecedented impacts both on our people and our business and we will continue to work through the issues together as effectively as possible.

During this time of closure, all memberships will be placed on complimentary freeze until we are in a position to resume our regular services. Surge Fitness has been working on contingency plans throughout the past few weeks to provide ongoing services to our members such as online & virtual training platforms including numerous resources to help support our members physical and mental health well-being.

Further announcements will be made in the coming days with communications to be published both on our social media platforms and via email once the government has clarified their position regarding the forced closure directive.
