Group Fitness Manager / Instructor
Jessica started her group fitness journey in 2005 and discovered the wonderful world of group fitness soon after.
Jessica started her group fitness career as a Les Mills BODYSTEP instructor back in 2015 whilst studying at Curtin University’s School of Public Health (Nutrition) and School of Biomedical Sciences (Molecular Genetics & Biotechnology). Having discovered her passion for group fitness instructing, Jessica soon obtained her Les Mills BODYPUMP certification and later branched out into instructing freestyle classes. She improved her repertoire rapidly, and now enjoys teaching a wide range of classes every week, having added freestyle cycle, stretch therapy, functional training, personal training, combat/MMA, HIIT, tabata, swimming instruction and swim squad training to her skillset.
In 2021 Jessica became involved in group fitness management – constructing and reviewing group fitness timetables, integrating and promoting new group fitness programs as well as up-skilling and mentoring instructors new to the group fitness industry. Jessica’s favourite parts of the role included running bootcamps, food & mood workshops, open days, Les Mills launches and fitness challenges. Jessica’s #1 goal in the industry is to promote a healthy lifestyle, both mentally and physically.
