From a young age I grew up playing many sports and loving everything about Health & Fitness. After finishing school, I was offered a professional contract and set off to play soccer in the Irish Premier League. During my career, I learnt in depth about not only rehabilitation after an injury occurs, but the importance of pre-habilitation and the need for strengthening particular areas to prevent injury in the first place. I also developed a passion for wanting to help others achieve their health & fitness goals and upon my playing retirement, I opened up a PT studio on the Gold Coast and was a mentor to not only my clients, but my trainers as well.
After 6 years as a PT owner/operator I joined the Special Forces in the Australian Defence Force Army. Post Army, I continued to upskill by studying a Bachelor of Science, Sports Science Degree and a Diploma of Education (Health and Physical Education), tapping into my love for helping others. I have completed 2 Ironman Triathlon events to date and have a passion for both triathlon and long distance events. I am currently completing my Football Federation Australia A Licence and for the past 2 seasons I was also the head coach in the WA National Premier League. I have a passion for all sports, so be sure to stop me for a chat about your favourite team or any advice you may require.
