Coming from a background of a negative body image led me to the gym. Initially I stuck to cardio but soon transitioned into weightlifting. I followed a few online guides but only saw real progress once I got my own PT – having someone to encourage me to go into a building phase and support me along the way really helped me change my mindset and I discovered that weightlifting and feeling strong is super motivating.
Another huge part of the shift in my mindset has been the way I value food. I am no longer scared of overeating, I eat to fuel my body and to look and feel strong. That has been part of the process during my building phases and I can’t wait to help others feel empowered in the same way.
