Fitness Background

I have been involved with a variety of sports throughout my life and I'm extremely passionate when it comes to personal training and the fitness industry. Being involved with professional rugby union over the last 4 years as both a player and a sports conditioning coach has given me all the tools necessary to ensure that any personal goal can be achieved.

My Rugby experiences have allowed me to learn and train with the best fitness conditioning coaches the industry can offer, providing me with immense knowledge on physical conditioning and what is required in order to achieve those personal goals.

Four years ago I lost an amazing 40 kg and it really changed my life. I declared that I would never go back to that person again. However, over the years the weight had very slowly begun to creep back on ans I was determined to lose thse 10 kg. I am  foundation member of Surge and have continued with the weights and cardio since my initial weight loss but obviously a few bad eating habits had come back into play and my body was not responding appropriately to my training. Over the years that I have been a member of Surge I have had personal training but was never motivated enough by my trainers to try to get rid of those extra kilos. Then along came Byron... He makes all of my training sessions really interesting and fun as training your butt off can be. He continually mixes up my program and the best thing about the training is the time he takes to ensure that my technique and that is so important in getting the best results from the exercises you are doing. He is extremely motivating and encourages me all the way, constantly reminding me that I am  machine. In the past few months I have shed those extra kilos and am now back on the right track thanks to Byron. Training with Byron has never been a chore, it has certainly been challenging but so rewarding when I finally reached my goal.
