The Clubhouse
Surge Health & Fitness offers a child minding service for all its members whilst they are using the clubs facilities.
We aim to provide a safe, fun environment in which all children of members are welcome with designated age specific areas to ensure the safety of all children. Our extended opening hours include evenings and Saturdays to provide the greatest flexibility for the widest range of families.
Our staff provide a number of creative activities to keep children entertained, as well as a Sony Playstation entertainment console and a wide selection of Children's movies.
Bookings and Fairness Policy
We cater for up to 50 children at any one time, so to ensure places are allocated fairly, bookings can only be made one week in advance and any cancellations must be notified by phone at least 24 hours in advance or before 8am on the day of your booking - failure to do so will result in a $3 cancellation fee.
In order to provide this service for as many members as possible - children can be left in the Clubhouse for a maximum of 1.5 hours per visit with a 2 hour stay available for just an additional $2. Members can ONLY bring their own children and must remain on the Surge premises at all times. Violation of this rule will result in the termination of your membership.
What to Bring / Not to Bring
While we aim to provide most things your child will need, we ask that you supply Nappies & Wipes or Pull-Up Training Pants if required, a drink in a plastic cup or bottle with a lid and a change of clothes if you feel necessary.
Please remember to label all belongings.
Please refrain from bringing any Food, Toys or Glass Bottles/Containers to the Clubhouse.
Sick children are not permitted at any time.

Registration
On your childs first visit, parents must complete a child information form for each child so that we can cater for all individual needs. You must present your membership card on arriving into the creche and sign in your child.
On leaving you must sign out your child - please note we will NOT allow a different person to pick up a child after their stay.
Our Staff
All our staff are first aid qualified and have "Working With Children" police clearance.
Our Creche service is not a licensed child care service - as such we are not subject to the licensing requirements of the Children and Community Services Act 2004. You, as the parent, maintain responsibility for your child at all times.
